What Are Community Tuesdays at Refraction?

Originally launched as the "Resource Tuesdays" career support program for former government workers, Refraction’s free weekly event series has since been renamed "Community Tuesdays" — a name that better reflects the energy, diversity, and collaboration that we see in our space each week.

This rebranding also aligns with Refraction’s broader mission to foster a more vibrant, connected, and inclusive innovation ecosystem. Community Tuesdays now serves not only displaced government workers, but also career-changers, aspiring entrepreneurs, startup-curious professionals, and founders in the making.

Each Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, participants are invited to spend the day working, connecting, and getting personalized support inside Refraction’s light-filled, open-plan coworking hub — located inside the trophy-class Valo Park building in the heart of Tysons.

Whether you are looking for career guidance, job search help, or a community to support your entrepreneurial journey, Community Tuesdays can provide you with a welcoming space to connect and a full range of FREE resources to help you move forward with confidence.
